I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist working with individuals and couples who often appear capable, responsible, or high-achieving on the outside, yet carry significant emotional distress beneath the surface.
Many of the people I work with are managing anxiety, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or relationship difficulties while maintaining demanding professional or personal roles. Therapy offers a space to slow down, create psychological safety, and gently understand patterns that may have developed over many years.
I specialise in working with anxiety, chronic stress, attachment wounds, childhood trauma, shame, self-criticism, ADHD-related challenges, OCD, and relationship issues. My work is particularly suited to those who carry early relational trauma, emotionally unavailable caregiving histories, or the ongoing pressure of responsibility and visibility.
Why You Might Be Here
You may feel like you are constantly coping, managing, or “pushing through.”
Perhaps you struggle to open up, carry responsibility alone, or find yourself repeating patterns in relationships that leave you feeling unseen or exhausted.
Therapy offers a space where you do not need to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or hold everything together.
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, I support clients who experience:
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed. I draw from relational psychotherapy, attachment theory, parts work, somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, breathwork, hypnotherapy, and CBT-informed interventions where helpful.
Sessions are collaborative, carefully paced, and grounded in emotional safety. We work not only with insight, but with the nervous system and body, helping change feel embodied rather than purely intellectual.
Couples Therapy
I work with couples experiencing emotional distance, communication breakdown, power imbalance, betrayal, intimacy difficulties, or uncertainty about whether to remain together.
Couples therapy provides a structured and contained space to:
Where appropriate, I may also work individually with each partner to deepen insight and accountability within the relationship process.
This work is particularly helpful for couples navigating high-stakes relationships, long-term resentment, or complex decision-making.
What to Expect
I offer therapy online and in person.
Sessions are typically weekly or fortnightly and may be short-term or longer-term depending on your needs. I also offer a free 15-minute quick consultation to help you decide whether my way of working feels right for you.
My Background
Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent over a decade working in corporate environments, including roles involving leadership, financial services, and mental health and inclusion initiatives. This experience informs my understanding of professional identity, high-pressure roles, and the emotional cost of appearing “fine” while struggling privately.
Alongside my clinical practice, I teach counselling skills and hypnotherapy, and I maintain regular professional supervision.
